Having joined as a medical student, I’ve had the privilege of attending the annual conferences since before I even entered general psychiatry residency training — my experiences there, in addition to the genuine warmth and camaraderie among the CACAP community, reinforced my commitment to pursuing a career in child and youth mental health.
